Going Private!

I am going to be setting my blog to private within the week. Leave me a comment with your email address and I will be sure to invite you. This blog has become my form of a journal and scrapbook and I just will feel better knowing that only people I know will be reading it.
Update...I have been told that there is a way to put a tracker on my blog to tell me who is visiting so I may not be going private. I am trying to find out about this tracker and if it works.
***Okay, I think I may have figured it out; I will have to watch the site for a few days to see if it really works!

Girls Camp 2008

The last week of June was Girls Camp. I LOVED Girls Camp growing up and I have been so blessed that I have been able to be a part of camp again for the last 3 years. Our ward was lucky enough to have been able to go to Heber Valley Camp last year just as our ward. This year we were lucky again as our Stake went to Heber Valley Camp again. The YW president, Tiffany, and I both had babies this year so we didn't go up and stay overnight at camp. We told the girls that we were coming up on Wednesday when they had the Bishopric there, and skits, and testimony meeting. Well, Tiffany and I surprised the girls by showing up on Tuesday afternoon! The girls were surprised and happy to see us, but Tiffany and I were so excited to be there to spend a few extra hours with them. I love serving in the YW organization; the leaders I work with, Tiffany, Christine, Kim, Kristy, Randee, and Lelani (they are the some of the most amazing women), teach me so much, but I learn a lot from the girls too. They all have amazing personalities and wonderful testimonies - I love my girls!
Enjoy the pictures - you can see how crazy we are!

Welcome Home Ron and Debbie!!

My cousin Ron and his wife just returned from serving as the Mission President in Guatemala. Our family is known to be chatters, and as you can tell by the pictures, we didn't fail at that last night. It was so great to see everyone; some cousins I haven't seen for so long. A special thanks to Marloe and Peggy for welcoming all of us into their home/yard so we all could have a chance to see Ron, Debbie, Nathan, Alyssa, and Camry before they all go back to Virginia. It was great to see everyone and talk the night away. Of course, we missed all those that weren't able to be there.

Congratulations to Michelle and Kelby!!

On June 26, 2008, Ryan's sister Michelle was married to Kelby. It was a gorgeous day, and the bride was beautiful. Megan had the honor of being one of the flower girls along with her cousins Maddie and Lindsey. At the reception, Megan also was a server, and she did a great job. Megan had a hard time not being able to be in EVERY picture, but she got over it. The whole day was going great and things were coming to an end, when it was time for the tossing of the bouquet and garter. Michelle went to throw her bouquet and realized she didn't have her garter. I happened to be right there so she sent me off in search to find it. It was no here in the house so we decide that it must still be in the truck. I told Michelle to stay in the house and I will run up to look for it, but she decided to come with me. Well, we found the garter, but that is where the fun stopped for me. As Michelle turned around to head back to the reception so did I, only I stepped on her dress. I hurried and jumped off as to not ruin the dress. Well, as that happened, my wonderful knees didn't like it too much and I couldn't catch myself so my left knee popped 3 times and twisted, and down to the ground I went. I was in extreme pain and Michelle turned around to help me - thanks sis! I insisted she go back to her day and enjoy the rest of the night, but to just get Ryan up there to help me. Ryan came and got me into the truck where I spent the rest of the evening there. I missed all of the dancing; Michelle dancing with her dad and ALL of her brothers - like I am ever going to witness any of those boys dancing - EVER! And to top it all off, Megan danced with Kelby, Uncle Jon, and of course her daddy. Oh well, I just hope someone has video or pictures of it so I can at least see glimpses. I am happy for Michelle and Kelby and hope they have a wonderful life together.

Here is the bride with her brothers.

Memorial Day at the Cabin

We spent Memorial Day at our family cabin in Timberlakes. It was a lot of fun and most of our family was there. We were missing Kristin's family, Brandon's family, and Allisyn's family. Uncle Shawn had a good time holding Morgan and playing with her. Baily and Megan enjoyed reading books with each other. The majority of the group had fun playing 7 on the line outside - it was a bit chilly. Ryan and Shawn took to the grill and made dinner. We had a good time and we all look forward to the week in July when EVERYONE will be in town and we will spend the entire week at the cabin.

I am a little behind...

Okay, so the pictures are from April when we went to St. George. I know I am behind, but hey, at least they are there now! We spent General Conference weekend in St. George with the majority of my family - sorry Kristin and Brandon. We had a great time together, especially all of the cousins. We took the kids to the water park while Ryan, my dad, Shawn, and Peter went hiking. The next day we had a picnic at a park and played baseball, basketball, kite flying, swings, etc. We had a great time!
