Look Who's 4!

January 15th, Morgan turned 4. She is just a silly monkey-butt. She didn't want anyone to sing to her, not at home, Church, or school. She even said she wanted her partied canceled because she didn't want to have anyone sing. So, I told her that family was coming over to see me because they like me. She bought it! She loved the cake I made - kit kats and m&ms - who wouldn't? When it came time for the cake, she came to the kitchen sat at the stool and only Ryan and I saw her blow out her candles. Then I tried to take a picture of her with her cake - no way! See, she is a monkey-butt! She had a great time and loves everyone that came for her celebration (even though the celebration was for me)! This girl is a crack up and can make me smile just about anytime. Of course, she has her moments of trying her parents, but overall she is a good kid. She loves to have her daddy pick her up from school. She loves to sit on her grandma's lap. She loves to dance and shake her "booty" (as she calls it). The library is one of her favorite places to go...that and "our" Maverick! She loves to get a plain chocolate bar for a treat. She loves to call and face time with my parents and St. George is a favorite place to visit. We love this girl to pieces and makes our family complete.

On January 5th, I became an aunt again (on the Morgan side). Peter and Cori had number 4 for them and he is a handsome little dude.

Sisters

While Allisyn and Kristin were in town, the four of us sisters went to dinner together, just the four of us! We didn't have a lot of time just us, but we made sure we had some alone time. It has been a long time since just the four sisters have been together, we are planning a sister (plus mom) get together this spring. I love my sisters. They are my best friends. I wouldn't have said that when I was 16, but I say it with pride now. We went to dinner at the Cheesecake Factory, and sadly, the only picture I took was of our dessert.

Morgan Family Party

The Morgan Family Christmas get together was held Friday, December 30th. This was because Kristin and her family were passing through on their way home to Seattle from spending Christmas in Oklahoma. We were also lucky enough to have Allisyn and her kiddos in Salt Lake for the week too. We have grown in numbers so we decided to have our party at Suzanne and Shawn's Church. It was great. Kids ran around, adults sat and visited...good times by all. I didn't get many pictures, so these will do for now. We did our annual Christmas Pie tradition, and Grandma and Grandpa found these cutest little stuffed animal puppets. Best part...every one was different!!!

Headbands...Disney Edition

Megan got a game for Christmas, Disney Headbands. We played as a family one night - it was good fun. Morgan is our little cheater though. She would ask a few questions, then turn around, take the card off and look at it, put it back on and then guess. The funniest part was that she didn't think we knew she was doing it!

Christmas Morning 2011

Christmas morning came around 7:00 am. The girls and Kenny were excited. We decided the night before that they could each open one present before we went to Church and then we would do everything else after. So, we got up and went to the tree and they all smiled and giggled. They each picked out one present from the pile and took turns opening their gift. Smiles all around! We all then got ready for Church, enjoyed a nice meeting, came home and opened the rest of the gifts Santa and mom and dad had so kindly left for them. :) If you know Kenny at all, you know his love for tractors. He HAS to get one for Christmas every year - I mean he HAS to! You will notice in the picture that he just loves to stare at it, and he keeps in the box for quite a few days too. The girls were excited with all of their stuff too. We surprised them and got them Nintendo DS's...they love them and actually don't play them way too much. We got movies, games, clothes, the usual. Overall it was a great day and we loved just being together.
