Perks...

What do you get to do at your job? Well, yesterday this is what I was able to do:

I attended the time capsule event for the new Church History Library. The entire First Presidency was there, along with Elder Oaks, Elder Nelson, the Presiding Bishopric, Elder Marlin K. Jensen, and Elder Paul K. Sybrowsky. Elder Jensen is the Church Historian and Recorder and he talked about the importance of church history and the new building. He then invited President Monson to bring his personal item to place in the time capsule. I was fortunate enough to be only 5-10 feet away from him as he spoke. I told my mom that I was close enough that I could see all of their wrinkles, but that they could even see mine! It was a fabulous experience. I was excited about the event because I knew I would be in a small room with them, but I had no clue that I would be able to sit so close. It was an amazing experience; one that I won't soon forget.

When I grow up...

Megan has been sharing some of her ideas with me lately. She has been telling me what she wants to be when she grows up. She starts off with becoming a baby nurse, not the nurse that helps deliver the babies, but the nurse that takes care of them after. After that she would like to be a rock star and an actress, because she is going to HOLLYWOOD (you have to hear her say Hollywood...she throws some diva attitude in there)! When that is over she would like to be a teacher, and of course do what mom does...work at the Church Office Building. She doesn't really know what I do, but wants to work at the Church Office Building! Finally, when all of these careers have come and gone she is going to be the President of the United States! She cracks me up...I love her outlook on life and how matter of fact she is about things.
Update...there is one more that I forgot in this list that Megan reminded me of...she wants to be a Biggest Loser trainer - like Bob, not Jillian she is too mean!

Megan's Photo Shoot

I decided I better put some pictures of Megan up due to the number of posts Morgan gets. Trisha took these pictures of Megan in December. It was a spur of the moment deal, but I was happy because I finally had some updated pictures of Megan. My mom saw the pictures and asked where Megan was going with her suitcase and I told her she was going to catch the train to visit Grandma Kay!

Pretty Ballerina

Morgan had a day another photo shoot. Trisha made the tutu, put her hair in curlers, and came out with some great pictures. I am so lucky to have a super cute girl and have a sister-in-law willing to take pictures!
