What do you get to do at your job? Well, yesterday this is what I was able to do:

I attended the time capsule event for the new Church History Library. The entire First Presidency was there, along with Elder Oaks, Elder Nelson, the Presiding Bishopric, Elder Marlin K. Jensen, and Elder Paul K. Sybrowsky. Elder Jensen is the Church Historian and Recorder and he talked about the importance of church history and the new building. He then invited President Monson to bring his personal item to place in the time capsule. I was fortunate enough to be only 5-10 feet away from him as he spoke. I told my mom that I was close enough that I could see all of their wrinkles, but that they could even see mine! It was a fabulous experience. I was excited about the event because I knew I would be in a small room with them, but I had no clue that I would be able to sit so close.
