Nine is Fine!

Megan turned 9 on March 8th. She woke up to balloons at her door in the morning and then I checked her out of school for lunch. Later we went to dinner, her choice was Golden Corral (not sure where that came from). When we got home from dinner, she opened her presents. The next day she had her friend party and she chose the Muppet's. We put together some decorations and a few games. The next day she told me we could count that part as a success! Sunday we had family over and she had a great time with aunts, uncles, cousins, grandparents. Overall, it was a long weekend, but full of fun birthday stuff for her.

Megan is such a sweet girl and we love her so much. She has such compassion for others around her; sometimes I tell her to remember she is a kid. She is a phenomenal reader and loves to read. She is a great student and all of the teachers lover her (both school and church). She helps me around the house, but not without some pushing from mom ;). I do love her and enjoy spending time with her.

St. Patrick's Craft

My friend, Stephanie, came over one Saturday and we made a St. Patrick's Day wreath. It took some time, but we think they turned out pretty cute. We cute the shamrocks out on my cricut, laminated them, cut them out again, and hot glued to a dollar store wreath. It was a good time!

Valentine's Day 2012

Moving

Back in mid-January, we were busy doing this:

That's right...we packed, moved, and unpacked! We found a home in Herriman and moved the week of January 16th. We are still close to my work, Morgan still goes to her same daycare, and Megan will finish her 3rd grade year at Rose Cre
ek Elementary. A big thanks to Amy (sis-in-law) for doing carpool and having Megan over every morning. A huge thanks to Ryan's parents for keeping Megan after school and while she is off track. His parents are so great; Megan enjoys hanging out with them. The girls have been making friends and adjusting well. The best part (from their mouths) is that they each have their own room!

More of Morgan's Birthday

Just a few more pictures from Morgan's birthday back in January. She is such a little monkey-butt! Love her to pieces.
