Quick Trip to St. George

The girls and I made a quick, unplanned trip to St. George the weekend after Megan's birthday. I was sitting at work Friday afternoon and really wanted to go see my sister Allisyn. So I asked my supervisor if I could leave early, she said yes. I drove home fast, packed even faster, and loaded up the girls. Ryan didn't care to come because he was snowmobiling on Saturday. The best part of the trip was that we got to surprise Lexi for her birthday party! We got to Allisyn's house around 10 pm; Lexi was in bed, but not asleep. We went back to her bedroom and said, surprise! Lexi's birthday is the same week as Megan's so she was having a birthday party on Saturday and now Megan was there so she could go! The girls had a great time and Lexi loved the surprise. Lexi's birthday party was a trip to the beauty school to get their hair and nails done. After that we went and got ice cream! All of the girls had a great time and Allisyn and I enjoyed just being together.

Megan turns 6!

Megan turned 6 on March 8th. She was so excited to go to Primary and have them sing to her on her very birthday, but we had Stake Conference so she was a little bummed. However, she got over it really quickly when she realized all of our families would be coming over that night for cake and ice cream. She was so spoiled by her grandparents, aunts and uncles, and cousins - she didn't lack for much. All of our family that lives in the SL area came over so we had a houseful, but it was a lot of fun.

Megan got an MP3 player.
